One consumer stated that he had wanted to trade his old centrifugal juicer out for a masticating juicer for quite some time. For a while he was put off at the “slow” description of the juicer until he realized that it really just meant low speed. It produces juice quite fast he stated and it is much higher quality, due to the fact that it is not damaged by high speed processing. He also liked that the juice it produced was free of foam and other byproducts that are caused by high speed juicing. He did mention that it had a little trouble with some leafy vegetables like kale, but by doing harder vegetables after he was able to push it through with no problem. He has enjoyed his Hurom and recommends it to all his friends.

Another buyer said that she felt this was a good compromise between a centrifugal juicer and other models of masticating juicer. It created more juice faster than other masticating models she had seen but kept her juice healthy. She stated that it works quite quickly and cleans up just as quick afterward. She did notice some foam depending on the types of fruits and vegetables she juiced, but noted that it was minimal compared to centrifugal juicers she had used in the past.
